Built in 1851, the George Hotel is set in an imposing Victorian building, situated in the main square of Huddersfield, seven miles from the village of Holmfirth, home to the Bronte family. The hotel is surrounded by Yorkshire's dramatic countryside, 11 miles from Leeds. The 60 rooms are decorated in a Victorian style, some with four poster beds and antique furnishings. All rooms have cable television, toiletries and hair dryers.
