Originally built in 1884 as the Manse (minister's home for Kingussie's Free Presbyterian Church. Funds were provided by a local man, George Ross Mackenzie, who had immigrated to the USA and had found fortune becoming president of the Singer Sewing Machine Company. Converted to a Hotel in the 1960s, it has been completely renovated and refurbished throughout to very high standards of comfort. The Scot House Hotel offers a relaxing atmosphere, friendly personal attention, excellent food and comfortable accommodation to a high standard throughout.
